Ana Margarida Fortes gave an interview to CiB – Centro de Informação de Biotecnologia in which she talked about the thematic lines of the Fruit Functional Genomics & Biotechnology Lab and how the CRISPR-Cas9 technology has been used to edit tomatoes and delay their ripening in order to increase the fruit shelf-time.
